Hakan Hellstrom

Sedan jag var sjutton ar har jag alskat Hakan Hellstroms musik. Han ar den enda artist som jag konsekvent hallt mig till, som jag aldrig aldrig trottnat pa. Markligt det dar, jag tittade pa en video pa youtube som visade hans fans... de ar alla unga!! Typ sjutton ar.. Men jag alskar honom annu.

Ofta fattar jag inte vad han vill saga i sina lattexter.. men da och da skriver han nagot valdigt traffande, fint pa nagot vis. De har raderna gillar jag t.ex. i denna lat>

Jag har ritat en del men orkar inte lagga upp... det ar lixom roligare att paborja nagot men sen att verkligen avsluta det, ja det ar trist. Jag kommer till en svarighet och sa ger jag upp...

It's seven degrees outside... almost as cold in here as the Australian houses don't seem to be built with insulation and double glazed windows. I've never been so cold during morning and nights as I been here... Back home we can have 20 minus degrees outside but as soon as you step into your home it's warm and cozy with a temperature on around 20 plus degrees. I miss that.. Anyway, I've learned to rug up so sitting here with two thick jumpers and fluffy socks. It's early in the morning still but the prediction is that the temperature shall go up to 19. I went for a walk along the beach yesterday and it was just truly amazing, the water is all still at this time of the year in comparison to a few months ago when the waves could get rough at times. I found a spot for me to sit and draw! They built an amazing path along the cliff overlooking the ocean and here and there they placed some chairs so I'll go there possibly today.

A good thing is that we now have Foxtel and I'm so into it, lots of things to see while I'm doing the chores (like ironing). I won the bid on Ebay, a set of 286 special pens so I can start practicing putting color on my drawings, very nice!

Mm, today is a really good day! I am slacking in my pj's, had a great phone conversation with a friend and been drawing a bit. Am trying to catch the resemblance of my five year old beautiful nephew. He has grown so big and is definitely not a toddler anymore. Miss him so much, him and his little brother. So beautiful, I wish that they will always carry with them a knowledge about how precious and amazing they are.

I really want something from e bay.... it's beginning to get ridiculously expensive for me... although to buy it new would be ten times as expensive so am not too sure what to do! Four hours until it finishes..... been looking at it for days without making a bid so might talk to my fiancé as he gets back. One thing that I don't understand is when you open the bid history and see that the same buyer been upping it like four times in a row with a few seconds in between each bid. What's up with that?

Now, the song of today is for Anna and Anna deserves some eye candy.  Mmmmm, the guy with the curly hair on the right with the accordion. Mumford and Sons! You like?

Busy

This weekend has been pretty busy, I been helping my fiancé with his school work all day today. We went shopping for a veggie garden - "thingimibob" yesterday. Bought it, plus lots and lots of soil so going to have to try and assemble it in the coming week. We're gonna have onions, broccoli, cauliflower, kohlrabi and asparagus. Plus all those nice herbs like oregano and basil, am looking forward to a happy harvest because it sure was expensive setting it all up.

I had time to finish two drawings since my last posting, one self portrait in happy colors and one sketch of Penelope Cruz, they are not perfect but I find it really thrilling that I've taken up my passion for drawing again being over ten years since I last did it! When I was around 17 I changed in many ways due to different circumstances and I completely forgot how much I liked drawing, my time was occupied with other things. As time has gone by I filled my time with things like Uni and work.

Having moved to a small small town a long way away from distractions like a job, shops, friends(!), music and other adventures has forced me to start looking for other mediums to entertain myself, drawing has been one of them so that has been a blessing. Might say that I really didn't want to move here but came hesitantly since my partner got a permanent job. Me myself am doing some part time job until my nursing degree gets accepted here in Australia.

I'll post my drawings tomorrow for anyone who wants to see. Ankan is probably my one and only reader. You want to see Ansapansa? :P Oh and Anna.. jag vet faktiskt inte varfor hon sjunger Sadness is a blessing.... kanske for att efter att man har kant sorg sa kan man verkligen uppskatta de dar gladjefyllda stunderna. Du vet nar man ar riktigt riktigt ledsen ensam och sviken..... ett tu tre sa kommer den dar dagen nar allt bara vander och man kan kanna dubbel gladje... Vad tror du????

First day

This is just a little something to figure this blog out, to find out where to click to write something. I started a little self portrait but am in need of a calligraphy pen to complete number one. Will have a shower and head down to the shops.

Just to spice things up a little I will try and post a link from YouTube featuring one of my favorite musicians Lykke Li who is from my country of origin, Sweden. I find her incredibly beautiful and amazingly talented, she is a true inspiration with her endless creativity showing trough song after song.
